Nicola Walmsley

Nicola has over 10 years’ experience working within MSK Physiotherapy after qualifying from the University of Huddersfield; including seven years working in the North Kirklees MSK Service. She has worked within semi-professional sport, mainly Rugby League, since 2007. She progressed to a managerial role within Connect Health as Physiotherapy Team Lead; which involves the support, co-ordination and leadership of the Physio/Rehab Therapists and has now progressed to Operations Manager for Yorkshire. She provides support for the CATS service, assisting with triage and providing injection therapy. She also works collaboratively with other professionals and services locally to facilitate better patient pathways. Nicola has a passion for self-development and the development of others, as well as proactively supporting MSK Education events ran by Connect. Nicola was provided with a large amount of development through Connect’s structured leadership programme, which she completed in June 2018.
