Joe completed a degree in Sport and Exercise Science in 2011 followed by an MSc in Physiotherapy in 2014. He enjoyed two years working in Southend as a rotational Physiotherapist and then started to specialise in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2016. This involved working in A+E, fracture clinic and extensively in ACL injury rehabilitation.

In Jan 2017, he started work at Connect as a Senior MSK Physiotherapist before moving into his current role of Team Lead in September 2017. He enjoys the challenge of finding out why people are in pain, as well as helping them return to their goal and trying to get the population generally healthier.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing hockey for a local team, as well as trying to out-run his more than excessive chocolate brownie consumption at the weekend. In 2015, he completed the Nottingham Marathon and recently completed the 2019 London Marathon with a time of 3 hours 9 minutes.
