Neil qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2001 working in the NHS and private sector. He has extensive experience in traditional Physiotherapy outpatient clinics and as an Advanced Practitioner within the Emergency department and Orthopaedic clinics. His previous roles include 2.5 years as Physiotherapy MSK Clinical Lead at Nottingham University Hospitals. Neil joined Connect full time in July 2018 and is keen to further develop MSK services to meet the needs of the local public.

Neil has undergone extensive post-graduate training and professional development, which includes Master’s level study at the University of Nottingham. He is well known for his broad smile and light-hearted professional manner and is a keen advocate for advancing the role of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation.

Away from work he tries to keep active through running, cycling and playing with his young family. He has previously been a winner of an NUH Honours and NHS Winter Hero awards. In his younger days, Neil competed for Greater Manchester nationally in athletic events; ranging from cross country running to hammer throwing.
