Hal joined Connect in 2009 after beginning the first 8 months of his career in Neurological Rehabilitation. He developed from a Physiotherapist to an Advanced Practice role, before becoming a Team Leader, line managing a team of CATS/IMATTS clinicians whilst

Hal joined Connect in 2009 after beginning the first 8 months of his career in Neurological Rehabilitation. He developed from a Physiotherapist to an Advanced Practice role, before becoming a Team Leader, line managing a team of CATS/IMATTS clinicians whilst still practising clinically within the team for 50% of his role. This involves supervision, audit and assisting in the operational management of the contracts in South Tyneside and Morpeth. Hal now works as a Service Manager for the South Tyneside service.

Hal achieved his MSc Physiotherapy in January 2009 with prior qualifications in BSc Physiology and MRes Biomolecular Research. He has previously worked part time for 6 seasons in the NUFC Academy and Northern League Football and has also co-authored 2 published articles. Hal is passionate about shared decision making and has a national role running workshops within Connect.
