Helen joined Connect Health in 2010 and is currently Regional Clinical Lead, supporting staff across the North of England with education, clinical audit, clinical development and governance, whilst still practicing clinically as an APP in MSK CATS clinics.

In 2017, Helen co-authored an article around the effectiveness of community MSK physiotherapy which was published in “Health and Quality of Life Outcomes” and presented at Physiotherapy UK. She is passionate about evidence-based practice, education and adaptability of the physiotherapy profession to meet future healthcare challenges.

Helen said: “I am looking forward to taking on the CSP NE Chair role and in particular trying to build on the success of the two education events we have ran in the last year. I am keen to try and engage with members across the region and would like to see as many as possible attend the events we have planned in May and November this year.

“I am always available for local members to flag any issues and or get in touch about any education or learning needs they would like the NE network to try and address via northeastchair@csp.org.uk or you can contact the team via Facebook and Twitter. I look forward to hearing from you!”
