You will join other patients experiencing pain for a talk about the new Pain Management Service, led by our Clinical Leads, Advanced Physiotherapist Practitioner in Pain Management and our Expert Patient. Working from local venues, we will give you information, guidance and reassurance on the new service in an environment which is designed to be more relaxed than a traditional hospital setting.
You will also be asked to work in small groups discussing key topics surrounding persistent pain, self-management and lifestyle choice. We will also discuss support within the community.
The workshop has a supportive, informative and constructive spirit, which will help you to understand how to best manage and live well with pain.
At the end of the workshop, you can choose to opt-in to further care or to move forward using self-management techniques.
