On arrival information
The MSK service work out of this local gym space. Entry to the building is via the main entrance from the carpark in front of the building.
If you are a KAL card member, you can make your way straight up to the gym from the reception area using your card to gain access. Go straight up to the gym area. Do not wait in the sofa/vending machine area as this is on the wrong floor. It would be beneficial if you could make yourself known to our staff that you are here for rehab. Our clinicians often convene at the entry gates of the gym on the top floor outside the lifts.
If you are a non-KAL cardholder, please advise the reception staff on the right in front of you that you are here for Connect Health rehab in the gym. You will then be either be buzzed through or given a pass to allow you to make your way up to the gym. When through the gates, you need to make your way up to the top floor and wait outside the entry gates into the gym, by the lift. Our clinicians will often be sat around the table by the lifts and will be dressed in black with Connect Health jumpers on. Please make yourself known to our staff members.
You may be instructed by the centre’s reception staff to make your way upstairs and wait on the chairs, however this is the wrong floor. You need to go past the sofas and vending machine, through the doors and up the stairs that are then immediately on the right. This takes you straight up into the gym.
Paid parking is available
If for any reason you can no longer make your appointment, please let us know. If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please call the service at least 48 hours prior to your appointment so it can be offered to someone else.
Please help us to keep patient waiting times low and reduce NHS costs.
If you do not give us sufficient notice to cancel or change an appointment, we may have to discharge you from this service.
