Connect Health is the largest, independent provider of integrated community MSK (musculoskeletal) services (including orthopaedics, pain and rheumatology) in the UK, serving over 300k NHS patients per year across 21 CCGs and 100+ businesses. 

This is a very exciting time to join Connect, and, as we continue to grow, this role will support in ensuring the continual high level of service provided by the Information Management and Technology Team. 

Connect Health’s IT services are used by colleagues and corporate clients from multiple locations and from all types of devices, and the health domain is one of the most exciting areas around for future technology innovation. 

Working within the newly forming Application Delivery Team, this role is instrumental in providing high quality application software and integration solutions, utilising the Microsoft stack. 

As a Developer you will be accountable for developing, implementing and maintaining application software solutions, primarily in .NET/C#, but will also involve an amount of Sharepoint Admin/Development (which will not be large, and will diminish as we evolve our estate). 

You’ll be expected to also work with the business to help analyse requirements and convert them into designs to deliver against. 

There may also be an amount of working across some of our other applications, including our SQL Server Data Warehouse and our clinical applications, as well as our future evolution into areas like AI, Chatbots and AR. 

Who we’re looking for  

You will be experienced in application support and systems development in the Microsoft stack. Along with this you will have experience of working in an Agile environment with exposure to CI and ideally through to CD in an Azure or AWS environment.

You will be driven and tenacious, with a natural ‘find a way’ ethos, coupled with an insatiable appetite for learning new technology. 

You will be comfortable troubleshooting where needed, but also keen to explore new ideas and shape best practice as we grow. 

In addition to your technical skills you will be customer focused to provide end user support for applications systems related issues.  

You will thrive working on projects in a fast paced, often changing and ambiguous environment. You will be able to work independently with confidence and autonomy or work collaboratively to generate and share ideas. 

Experience of working within Clinical health / NHS systems would be advantageous.
