Connect Health’s IT services are used by colleagues and corporate clients from multiple locations and from all types of devices.  

The IT Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will deliver and maintain highly available, secure IT services that meet or exceed business requirements. This includes servers, networks, firewalls and services (internal and external).  

Connect is transitioning from on-premise IT solutions to cloud services. The IT Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will play a major role in this transition, learning new technologies and transitioning services to the cloud. 

Who we’re looking for  

You’ll be an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer with significant experience across cloud and on-premise IT technologies. You will have exceptional troubleshooting skills in known and unknown technologies and domains. You will have a thorough understanding of the information security threat landscape, risks, technical developments and directions.   

Proven ability to find root causes for highly technical problems and introducing sustainable, long-term resolutions. Adept and introducing change and managing problems in line with ITIL best practice to minimise unnecessary interruption to service. 

You will be highly adaptable and an advocate of change to drive our journey to the cloud. 

Ability to conduct and direct research into threats and vulnerabilities and preventative capabilities and manage discrete security projects. 

You will be able to balance operational efficiencies with the appropriate level of security using a pragmatic, risk-based approach. You will be familiar with current data protection regulations e.g. GDPR.
