We are looking for a Hand Therapist to join an exciting new service. You will join an integrated team of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, offering an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive and friendly hand team. The service will be person centred and community based. Working closely with Primary care teams will prevent silo working, enable teams to share knowledge and expertise and will ensure that patients received “joined up” holistic care. We have close links with our local Orthopaedic hand surgeon.

If you’re able to manage a varied caseload of MSK hand patients, undertake comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients following hand trauma, treat patients following hand surgery for splint fabrication and wound management, committed to CPD and have the desire to develop yourself and the service, with a keen eye on improving patient care, then we’d be keen to hear from you.

You will be an experienced hand therapist who is specialised in clinical treatment of problems relating to hands and wrist, following trauma or surgery. You will ideally have a  Minimum 2 years experience in the field of hand therapy, with BAHT membership.
