Low back pain is extremely common, with around 84% of people worldwide experiencing a bout at some stage. Despite being the number 1 musculoskeletal problem people see their GP for, very few episodes of back pain are the result of anything serious, and most will settle within about 6 to 8 weeks.

Accessing up to date information about back pain can help reduce suffering, and in many cases, prevent unnecessary time off work and other important activities.
