In August, we launched our A-Z of careers campaign on Twitter so we could tell you about all of our fantastic colleague benefits. We dedicated a letter a day (that’s 26 days in total) to telling you about our benefits, training and development courses, culture, events and other exciting opportunities we have on offer at Connect!
If you missed it, don’t worry; we’ve summed everything up for you below.
Accelerated Development Programme – designed to help develop MSK clinical skills and confidence. We spoke to one of our MSK Physiotherapists about his experience of the course and here’s what he had to say:
Birthday – we provide all staff with a day off for their birthday meaning you never have to work it again; simple!
Caring – we have a range of leave and flexible working policies which support our employees to ensure they have a work-life balance
Development – our Learning and Development team ensure we continue to invest in colleague development. Visit our blog to find out why you should look to Connect for your Learning and Development needs.
Employee Assistance Programme – we have partnered with Health Assured to provide a confidential support service to colleagues. This includes complimentary access to new enhanced EAP available 24 hours a day.
Favourite things – one of the ways we reward our colleagues for all of the great work they are doing is by getting them one of their favourite thing. You can read all about it here.
Graduate Development Programme – If you are unsure of your next steps as a newly qualified physio, our Graduate Development Programme might be able to help. Read about all of the great benefits and find out about the programme first hand from one of our Physios.
Health cash plan – we have set up a plan with Westfield Health which provides colleagues with money back, up to set limits, towards the cost of your routine healthcare, helping you budget for essential health costs like optical treatments, dental treatments, therapy treatments and much more.
Investment – we invest in our colleagues, ensuring they have support to grow their career and provide a quality service
Journey – we have grown from a single provider clinic in 1989 to being one of the largest providers of community MSK physiotherapy in the UK. Look how far we have come!
Kiddivouchers – our partnership provides an easy way for working parents at Connect to save on the cost of childcare and nursery.
Leave – we provide colleagues with a range of annual leave policies which includes up to 30 days and 8 bank holidays per annum. A great excuse to go and enjoy the sun!
MSK Education Network events – we offer internal and external clinicians the opportunity to attend free educational evenings across the UK. Visit our Twitter page to find out when and where we are hosting our next event!
News – it’s important to communicate and collaborate with colleagues, so we provide a number of forums to get them involved so they can have their say, and be heard!
Opportunity to buy and sell holiday – we understand that you might need an extra 5 days leave or a bit of extra cash, so we give colleagues the opportunity to buy and sell their holidays.
Paternity leave – as part of our benefits package, we offer colleagues 2 weeks full paid paternity leave.
Quorum Business Park – the location of our Head Office. As a Head Office colleague you’ll receive a range of benefits including…
Recognition and reward – when you join us, you’ll be provided with full access to a range of discounts through Perkbox
Salary Sacrifice Scheme – this helps colleagues get the latest technology, pay through their salary and make great savings. The scheme works as a salary sacrifice arrangement, enabling colleagues to pay for products out of their gross pay, resulting in tax savings throughout the term and NI savings. This includes Apple, Samsung and HP products, tablets, laptops and much more!
Training – with a dedicated Learning and Development team, we ensure a greater focus is given on investing in colleagues development.
Unicycle (or a bike if you prefer) – we can provide both with our cycle to work scheme.
Values – we have recently launched our 4 refreshed values; decided by colleagues and which guide our actions as a business:
- People Centred
Worklife – plenty of socials, fundraising days, bake sales and a day off for you birthday…what more could you ask for?
X marks the spot – Our high quality physios identify the problem and provide patients with a treatment plan to get them back to health!
YOU! We pride ourselves on being a people-centred organisation (as our values suggest) – not just for patients, but colleagues too
Zero regrets when you join us. Why not check out the careers section of our website to see all of our current vacancies.
