Over the past few months, our newly restructured HR team have been working hard to deliver an improved package of benefits for colleagues across the business. This new package, which launched at the beginning of last month, aims to provide colleagues with a more attractive offer and not just the statutory minimum.
Before the official launch of the new benefits, the HR team held a number of focus groups with current colleague to find out which additional benefits they’d like to see. A popular choice amongst all colleagues was a day off for your birthday, which has now been implemented in addition to current annual leave entitlement. With colleagues input into the process, the HR team hopes that the implementation will not only aid with staff attraction and retention but also continue to make Connect a great place to work.
Current benefits including childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme, favourite things and Christmas savings club will continue to run alongside the new package, and in addition to these, colleagues will also receive:

All colleagues will now receive 2 weeks’ full pay paternity leave.
